The Kuppa Joy mission has always been to love God, love people, and love coffee. For the longest time, we figured a drive-thru didn’t fit that mission – but you all kept telling us that you needed a convenient way to grab your Kuppa Joy on the go.
That’s why, nearly two years ago, we opened our first Joy Thru:
The “Why” Behind Our Joy Thrus
Each of our Joy Thrus (located in Fresno and Madera) includes some special Kuppa Joy touches that allow our baristas to connect with you as you drive through. As you saw in the video above, we positioned each of our two La Marzocco espresso machines (which cost as much as a car!) beside a drive-thru window, so our baristas can chat you up and take special care of you as they make your drinks.
By combining top-of-the-line equipment with great customer service, we’ve created a café-level experience that doesn’t require leaving your car.
We also made sure to stock the Joy Thru with everything our baristas need to provide you with the full Kuppa Joy experience. Whether you’re looking for a macaroon from the macaroon fridge, our “Best of the Valley” drip coffee, a specialty frappe, or Blood Orange slush, our Joy Thru baristas are able to blend, brew, or otherwise create anything you need.

Is there a walk-up window at the Joy Thru? That’d be nice because there are neighborhoods next to it, so it’d be nice to go for a walk & get coffee.
