After 10 years of spreading joy in Clovis and throughout the Valley, we wanted to invest back into our community. Our mission is to bring glory to God through community-centered ministry. The focus of our nonprofit is on three main areas: advancing the Gospel, loving our employees, and loving our community. With advancing the Gospel as our main priority, we seek to do this through loving and supporting our amazing employees who are the heartbeat of Kuppa Joy, as well as reaching outside the four walls of our shops to take the love & joy to those who need hope the most.

OUTREACH: (HOMELESS INITIATIVE)

We want to go above and beyond to instill value and dignity to those who are currently experiencing homelessness. We have a weekly outreach team who serves coffee and treats at the Poverello house in Fresno. There are currently over 4,000 individuals experiencing homelessness in Fresno and Madera Counties. The following are additional statistics about the homeless crisis in the cities in which we serve.
  • About 25% of the unsheltered population was considered chronically homeless, meaning they have experienced homelessness for 12 months in the past three years.
  • Around 11% were children accompanied by an adult.
  • Around 5% were veterans.
  • About 15% were survivors of domestic violence.
  • Roughly 60% are men; about 40% are women.
Regardless of the statistics, we have a heart and desire to meet each individual where they are and remind them of their inherent worth and value. Your donations will support us on our mission to love our community in both large scale as well as individual levels. It’s amazing how far a cup of coffee will go.

We believe in giving back to the community, and frequently donate to worthy causes. Though we’d love to help every organization who comes to us, because of the volume of requests we receive, we must limit donations to a select few each month.
