You can't, but God can and did

Father, Son, and the mighty Holy Spirit. There was no start to them, they always were. Up in heaven they set the plan in motion: the heavens, the Earth, and thousands upon thousands of angels.

That serpent slithered his way in and deceived Eve. She passed it to Adam, and just like that one act of disobedience separated God's children. Death and destruction ensued, and evil began to reign in the hearts of man.

God gave the perfect law to Moses, but our sin nature makes it impossible to keep on our own strength. You're a good person? But to whose standard? Yours? You're not the judge, and every thought and deed gets brought into account.

Jesus got down off his throne of majesty, became human, and drank the full cup of God's wrath on that cross. They laid him in the tomb, and in three days he popped out that thing, resurrected, conquering death. By grace, through faith. A gift, not your works.

You can accept God's grace or reject it. Receive it, and you've got a new Lord and Master, the Holy Spirit sealing you, and a new desire to follow God. And when a sinner repents, heaven throws a party.
